The new LP-6 studio monitor is part of Kali's 2nd Wave loudspeaker series. The new models in the "2nd Wave" series are based on 3 years of research and development and have been improved in all areas. A new amplifier module provides 12 dB less self-noise, while the input sensitivity has been increased by 3 dB. The tuning has been refined for smoother HF behaviour and the boundary EQs have been updated for common real-world applications. New here is the preset for positioning the speakers on desktop stands. Other improvements include lighter transducer cones for better transient response and an improved cabinet design for greater reliability. Proven and unique features such as waveguide technology, bass speakers with oversized magnets and the sophisticated bass reflex system have of course been retained, making the LP-6 2nd Wave studio monitor a reliable tool regardless of genre and budget.
