The Picco drummer's seat is a good choice for both beginners and advanced drummers. The unique clamp with the patented push-button system enables user-friendly height adjustment of the seat. The handy clamping lever provides additional stability and backlash-free positioning. The sturdy double-braced steel base construction with large parquet protectors forms the basis for this robust and reliable entry-level model.

The height can be conveniently adjusted from 481 to 661 mm in 15 mm increments. The small base circle with a diameter of 540 mm is particularly suitable for confined spaces and still offers sufficient stability. The comfortable seat cushion with a durable, hard-wearing synthetic leather cover and a diameter of 300 mm also does an excellent job in long-term use. The swivelling movement can be infinitely adjusted from smooth to firm using a handy wing nut.

The sansula - a patented invention from Hokema - is a new development of the kalimba (also known as sansa or mbira), which originated in southern Africa. Kalimbas are reed instruments that are plucked with the thumbs or fingers. In Africa, they are found in countless shapes and designs, in which the vibration of the tongue is amplified in various ways (e.g. on a resonance box, a hollow body such as a calabash gourd or simply a piece of solid wood). With the sansula, the vibration of the tongue is first 'stored' in a block of wood, which then transmits it to a sound membrane. In this way, the sound can be heard for much longer than with other methods of sound amplification. Supported by the tuning - octaves are close together - a wonderful, mellow sound rich in overtones is produced, which is easy to elicit from the instrument.
