Iron Maiden have been shaping the metal genre for half a century. Since their formation in 1975, they have been one of the most important forces of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Their opulently arranged songs, galloping basslines, operatic vocals and spectacular two-part guitar melodies are as much a part of heavy metal culture as "Eddie", the band's comic mascot. With more than 100 million records sold and 17 studio albums, Iron Maiden have gained a worldwide fan base and influenced the evolution of metal for 50 years.

Adrian Smith, with his famous SC1, is a driving force on the polyphonic guitar parts. Over the years he has played various Jackson guitars. Each one has different favourite features. These are now collected in the 50th Anniversary Iron Maiden Adrain Smith Jackson SC1: DP 100 DiMarzio® and Fender Samarium pickups, a 12 - 16" compound radius fingerboard and a top-mounted Floyd Rose® Double Locking Tremolo. This anniversary guitar delivers exactly the legendary SC1 tone that you know from Iron Maiden - whether from the centre of the stage or from the right - including an iconic look and outstanding playability.
