IK Multimedia ARC X

ARC X is the latest evolutionary stage of IK Multimedia's award-winning room correction software. It combines the strengths of ARC 4 and X-MONITOR in a powerful, intuitive application.

By automatically analysing the listening area on three different levels, ARC X creates a precise 3D image of the room. Acoustic problems are recognised and corrected without distorting the natural sound character.

The result: an exceptionally transparent and realistic correction that conveys the feeling of mixing in a perfectly optimised studio.

With just a few moments of measurement, ARC X generates and applies a precise correction for a linear frequency response and eliminates room-related problems that can distort mixing decisions. The correction profile is then uploaded to the iLoud monitor, which saves the profile for standalone use.

Beyond correction, ARC X enhances any setup with customisable system tuning and advanced speaker emulation. Users can customise their monitor systems to their personal preferences or emulate over 20 legendary speaker systems, from high-end studio monitors to consumer playback devices. Whether in a professional studio, a home environment or a portable setup, ARC X ensures that all monitors can realise their full potential.

The ARC X software replaces both the X-MONITOR and ARC 4 software and is included with the Precision MKII. Registered owners of the first series can download ARC X free of charge via the IK Product Manager after updating the firmware.

ARC X is also fully compatible and available free of charge to all registered owners of iLoud Micro Monitor Pro, iLoud MTM MKII, ARC Studio and ARC 4 software. This allows users to mix more effectively anywhere - be it on their iLouds or via the plug-in on another monitoring system.
