The B9, as we call it, is a small, handy kalimba with a solid sound block made of American cherry.
It is the sister of the B7 model. Although the two instruments have the same dimensions, they differ in sound, tuning and the number and width of the reeds.
The vibrations of the nine reeds on this model are easy to feel in the hands and the subtle sound of the instrument is easy to hear even without amplification.
By placing the instrument on a suitable surface, such as a table top or the skin of a drum, the volume of the instrument can be amplified considerably.
The tuning of the Kalimba B9 is identical to that of our Sansula models. It is an A minor sound with additional Bb and F. As all the notes always match, even beginners will have a successful playing experience right from the start.
