Building on the successful design of the CX-12 from the 1990s (Hohner received a design award from the Design Center Stuttgart in 1992), Hohner has now developed the CX-12 "Jazz". The CX-12 "Jazz" offers outstanding playing characteristics that can be fully exploited particularly in jazz, but also in rock and pop, as well as in blues. The mouthpiece, specially milled to ergonomic specifications, has been made slightly narrower and therefore adapts perfectly to the player’s lip position. The responsive action and the slightly higher reed offset ensure a lively and crisp sound and provide the necessary drive.
