At the heart of the VX5 is the legendary AutoTune ® algorithm, which has been used and popularised by some of the most prominent and beloved artists of our time. This indispensable music production software has redefined the image of the modern vocalist and expanded the range of effects available to artists whose instrument is the human voice. The VX5 makes this technology available to the everyday musician or producer in a tactile format.
Make subtle pitch corrections or experience the distinctive sound of AutoTune ® in all its glory via the pedal’s dedicated ‘Retune Speed’ and ‘Humanize’ controls. Beyond pitch correction, the VX5 also offers studio-quality reverb, delay, chorus, compression and flavour effects, as well as an intelligent harmoniser capable of generating vocal harmonies based on chords from a connected guitar or keyboard.
The VX5’s clear layout and colour display, with easy up/down navigation through presets, make it simple to programme presets for every song in a set or adjust parameters whilst playing. Using the pedal’s two footswitches, you can switch seamlessly between presets or activate Talk Mode to conveniently control effects during a live performance. Artists can easily automate preset changes via their playback rig using MIDI over USB.
With up to 250 presets to create and explore, and this pedal’s unique ability to function as a class-compliant USB audio interface for easily recording ideas, the VX5 is the ultimate vocal effects processor for use on stage and in the studio.
