The 8351B studio monitor from Genelec's SAM series offers the high resolution of a 3-way system with a deep lower cut-off frequency. It also adapts perfectly to your listening environment.
Automatic calibration and control are performed using GLM software. The B version uses up to 20 DSP filters built into the speakers to compensate for room effects. The sound image is linearised, and the high resolution and transparency guarantee relaxed, analytical listening. With the Genelec 8351B, you can work without fatigue even in acoustically challenging rooms and make confident decisions.
The coaxial chassis, which has been further revised and optimised compared to the A version, is the ideal point source, as the midrange and tweeter are located on the same acoustic axis. This design also makes it suitable for very close listening distances with a high proportion of direct sound. In addition, the large DCW sound guide, which covers the entire front, ensures a wide listening zone. The radiation remains linear and free of colouration, even to the sides.
Two oval woofers deliver optimal directivity down to the lower frequency ranges. The loudspeaker can be operated horizontally or vertically.
Suitable subwoofers are the Genelec 7370 or 7380.
