The GENELEC 8341 active monitors really pack a punch. Thanks to patented GENELEC key technologies, these speakers impress with their natural, full sound from moderate dimensions and are particularly versatile.
The three-way system is consistently designed as a point source. The modern coaxial system does not suffer from the time differences between the individual reproduction ranges that are inherent in conventional loudspeakers. The result is perfect spatial imaging even at small listening distances. The surroundless midrange driver forms a seamless transition to the acoustically optimised front of the loudspeaker (full-size waveguide), resulting in exemplary uniform sound dispersion.
Directly behind the intelligent waveguide, two high-performance 250-watt woofers guarantee a thrilling bass foundation. The midrange and tweeters also have their own amplifiers. The design achieves the shortest possible signal paths and thus impeccable signal fidelity. The robust, edgeless die-cast aluminium enclosure also contributes to the impressive neutrality of the sound transducers.
Small switches on the rear of the GENELEC 8341 allow adjustment to the acoustic conditions. Using the optional GENELEC Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™), the models can even be automatically adjusted to the respective location or personal listening preferences. A variety of analogue and digital inputs make the GENELEC 8341 a universal all-rounder.
