The active monitor speakers incorporate patented GENELEC technologies from four decades of experience in professional technology, with the coaxial design of the tweeter and midrange driver and the intelligent shape of the baffle guaranteeing impressively spatial and accurate reproduction even at very short listening distances - ideal conditions for fatigue-free listening pleasure. Two powerful woofers guarantee a very deep and exemplary precise bass performance. The GENELEC 8331's drivers are each driven by their own amplifier. The speaker housing is made of torsion-resistant aluminium, so the GENELEC 8331 does not suffer from sound-distorting vibrations of the body. The speakers can be positioned horizontally or vertically, depending on the location. Their practical Isopod feet optimally decouple the speakers and protect the surface. In addition, the GENELEC 8331's bass, mid-range and treble can be sensitively adjusted to the positioning. The optional GENELEC Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) with AutoCal even enables automatic calibration via PC or Mac.
