These active monitor loudspeakers incorporate patented GENELEC technologies developed over four decades of experience in professional technology.
The coaxial design of the tweeter and midrange driver, as well as the intelligent shape of the baffle, guarantee impressive spatial and time-accurate reproduction even at very short listening distances – ideal conditions for fatigue-free listening pleasure. Two powerful woofers ensure very deep and exemplary precise bass performance. The GENELEC 8331 chassis are each driven by their own amplifier. This keeps the signal paths extremely short and distortion to a minimum.
The speaker enclosure is made of torsion-resistant aluminium, so the GENELEC 8331 is free from sound-distorting vibrations. Depending on the location, the speakers can be positioned horizontally or vertically. Their practical isopod feet optimally decouple the speakers and protect the floor. In addition, the GENELEC 8331 can be finely adjusted to the installation in terms of bass, midrange and treble. The optionally available GENELEC Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) with AutoCal™ even allows automatic calibration via PC or Mac.
