The Genelec 8030 CP is a versatile, professional near-field monitor designed specifically for demanding applications such as mixing, broadcasting and multimedia. Its analytical and uncoloured sound image enables objective mixing and fatigue-free listening. Its compact dimensions make it the ideal choice for small studios, post-production or mobile setups. Protective grilles in front of the drivers also ensure safe transport.
The sturdy aluminium cabinet of the 8030 CP reduces resonance and ensures optimal sound reproduction. Rounded cabinet edges and optimised sound guidance guarantee balanced dispersion, a precise stereo image and a wide listening zone. A long bass reflex port ensures deep and precise bass reproduction despite the compact design. Those who need more depth can extend the frequency range down to 30 Hz with the matching Genelec 7040 subwoofer.
Switchable filters allow the loudspeaker to be adapted to the installation location and room acoustics. The IsoPod stand decouples the monitor from the surface and allows it to be aligned with the listening position. Threaded holes and matching accessories facilitate wall or ceiling mounting.
