The ideal woofer for anyone who loves the resonant Fender® Thinline bass tone! Our Paranormal Precision Bass® Thinline SJ builds on the classic Fender® bass design with a semi-hollow body. The SJ pickup configuration is highly unusual, featuring a Fender Designed Alnico single-coil ’51 P Bass® neck pickup and a Fender Designed Alnico single-coil Jazz Bass® bridge pickup. To vary the rich bass tone, you can use the 3-way blade switch to combine the pickups or play them individually. The tonal range covers everything you need for your music – from classic, growling, warm Precision Bass sounds right through to the throaty rumble of a Jazz Bass. The semi-hollow Thinline construction also produces additional acoustic body resonance. A pleasant side effect: the bass is a featherweight and rests lightly on your shoulder. Further player-friendly details: a comfortable C-profile neck with a satin-matt urethane finish, a vintage-style bridge with four notched barrel saddles, and smooth-running, precise open-back tuners in a vintage design.
