The Paranormal Electric VI harks back to one of the most fascinating chapters in the early history of the Fender®. Here, we combine the distinctive body shape of a 1960s Electric XII with the playability and tone of a six-string guitar. The two Fender-designed split-coil ‘VI’ Alnico pickups are specially wound to this guitar’s specifications to produce a rich, crisp tone with genuine vintage character. The two pickups are not switched using the usual blade switch, but via a 4-way rotary switch. This allows you to control the pickups and switch between the different settings: bridge solo, both pickups in phase, both out of phase, or neck solo. This allows you to play an incredibly wide range of sounds with just a single guitar. The Mustang-style tremolo allows for creative bending effects. The headstock is inspired by the legendary Coronado, whilst the control layout resembles that of the Electric XII. The scale length is slightly shortened to 24.75". Further player-friendly details: a slim C-profile neck, a bound fingerboard made from Indian laurel with shimmering pearloid block inlays, and smooth, precise vintage-style tuners.
