There are ways to make playing a Fender® even more fun. The Highway Series™ instruments combine traditional, masterful acoustic guitar craftsmanship with clever ingenuity. You can feel and hear this in the many details. Ergonomic design, a crystal-clear and natural-sounding Fishman® Fluence® acoustic pickup, and a completely new bracing system – the Highway Series guitars feel delicate and comfortable to hold, and despite their slim dimensions, they produce a sound as powerful and resonant as that of larger instruments.
A solid Sitka spruce or mahogany top is set into the fully chambered body. A look inside reveals the innovative construction: the proprietary design, featuring dynamically tapered floating X-bracing and a thinline profile, delivers sensational resonance with a highly dynamic acoustic tone. The Fishman Fluence acoustic electronics capture this sound in all its beauty; at its heart is the elegantly curved Fluence® Core™ magnetic pickup with fully analogue technology. It reproduces the acoustic tone faithfully and also prevents annoying feedback.
The Fender Highway series does not simply present new acoustic guitars. It approaches the subject from a modern perspective and takes it to the next level in terms of sound, appearance and feel. An invitation to players and creative minds who are keen to explore new horizons.
