World hits were refined with this sound! Fender® Custom Shop '55-'56 Telecaster® pickups are 1:1 reproductions of the pickups from the historic Tele® models of the Whiteguard era. They growl, snarl and sing like the classics. The bridge pickup features stacked, hand-bevelled Alnico 5 magnets, while Alnico 3 magnets on the neck conjure up sweet mids and crisp basses.

Most Whiteguard models have switched from Alnico 3 to the higher output stacked Alnico 5 magnets on the bridge, which produce better string-to-string consistency, clear articulation and balanced output. Another authentic upgrade are the steel string riders, which support the characteristic twang and a direct attack. From delicate picking to wild, rough-edged rock, these pickups deliver everything that makes the famous Tele® vintage tone so brilliant.
