We have been refining this design time and again for more than ten years. Now it’s here: our California Deluxe series. Exquisite acoustic instruments that will accompany you wherever you go. The California Deluxe Kingman™ Bass CE sets new standards with its optimised construction and sound.
This resonant, clearly articulated natural bass tone will inspire you when writing songs and on stage. The California Deluxe Kingman™ Bass CE is an acoustic bass suited to any musical style. Its cutaway allows for comfortable fingering right up to the highest registers, ideal for fast melodic runs and sophisticated licks. Beneath the solid Sitka spruce top lies scalloped X-bracing, whilst the sides and back are made from laminated mahogany. This enables the California Deluxe Kingman™ Bass CE to produce a full, balanced and lively sound. Open-back tuners ensure the tuning remains stable over time. The Micarta® nut and bridge insert ensure the best possible resonance transfer, whilst the phosphor bronze strings sound clear and rich from the very first note. With the integrated Fishman® CD-1 preamp, complete with tuner, you can deliver your music cleanly through your amp and PA system.
