With its historic design, the Player II Telecaster embodies timeless Fender charm, yet inside it’s cutting-edge. Every detail is designed for smooth playability. The neck, featuring a modern C-profile with a silky urethane finish on the back, is fitted with a maple or slab rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5” radius, gently rounded edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The body is crafted from classic alder, finished in popular Fender colours or our new vintage colours, which we’ve freshly unearthed from the archives. Player Series Alnico V Tele ® single-coil pickups deliver crystal-clear trebles, musical mids and crisp bass. The neck pickup has a smooth, bell-like tone, whilst the bridge pickup gives you that famous twang. The 3-way switch allows you to combine the pickups to create a variety of sounds. The strings run over a bridge with six curved steel saddles, whilst ClassicGear™ tuners keep the tuning stable.
