The CLA 118SA is a birch plywood subwoofer with a 460mm B&C woofer. It operates in a bass reflex port with an extensive laminar airflow that minimises turbulence and power compression. The class D switching power supply amplifier module is constructed from die-cast aluminium with natural convection and is rated at 1200W / 2400W peak. The onboard DSP also offers functions such as filtering, equalisation and protection.
Perfect pair
When you need to extend the power of the CLA406A, especially in live applications, the CLA118SA acts as a support and base for the CLA406A column, which can be attached to the top of the subwoofer via optional hardware with M20 points.
The CLA118Sa is also modular and can be stacked thanks to special milling, which increases the SPL by +6dB and increases the base of the CLA406A.
The matching CLA406A is a truly professional line array that still delivers an impressive 133dB SPL despite its compact size. It integrates elegantly and with minimal intervention into any environment that requires high quality sound with powerful directional control.
