The ProMaxX 112A is an active full-range loudspeaker with a two-way bass reflex design. The custom 12" mid/bass driver developed by FBT is complemented by a 1" tweeter from B&C®. With a sound pressure level of up to 133 dB (SPL) at a frequency response of 48Hz - 20KHz, the ProMaxX 112A delivers exceptional performance compared to other 12" systems with compact dimensions and a weight of less than 15 kg.
Powered by a 900 W bi-amp Class-H and Class D power amplifier (700 W LF, 200 W HF), the ProMaxX 112A is the middle of three loudspeakers in the FBT ProMaxX series. The combination of convenient operation, elegant design and sophisticated sound with DSP technology makes the ProMaxX 112A a solid tool for musicians, DJs, event technology and fixed installations.
All ProMaxX models are available in either active or passive design. In addition to the integrated switching power supply, the ProMaxX 112A has a digital DSP signal processor with 6 selectable equaliser presets. It is controlled via the LCD display in the control panel on the rear of the housing. There is also a 2-channel mixer with an adjustable, balanced XLR input (switchable for mic/line), two RCA inputs (stereo) and an XLR link/mix-out output. The volume is continuously adjustable.
The polypropylene housing with full metal grille makes the ProMaxX 112A robust and durable. Its 35 mm stand mount and two M10 flying points make it ideal for both mobile use and fixed installations. It can be used as a front PA, stage monitor or on a subwoofer for larger FOH setups.
