The FBT MITUS 206LA loudspeaker has a lightweight yet robust cabinet construction made of gas-injected polypropylene. The MITUS 206LA is a two-way system with 2 x 6.5" B&C neodymium woofers with a 1.7" voice coil and a 1.4" B&C neodymium driver wave former, which is driven by a 2.5" voice coil.
The modularity of the FBT MITUS 206LA makes it extremely flexible for a wide range of applications, from a small "2 module per side" stand-mount PA system to an elaborate line array system consisting of up to 12 MITUS 206LA cabinets together with multiple FBT MITUS 212FSA subs for large concert events. The FBT MITUS 206LA must have a frequency response of 68 Hz to 20 kHz, a maximum SPL of 134 dB (with one module), a class D amplifier module with 600 W RMS for the LF and 300 W RMS for the HF.
The waveguide, optimised by BEM finite element simulation, offers a horizontal dispersion of 100°. The perfect integration with the HF compression driver enables the dispersion of a flat acoustic wave up to over 18 kHz. The mechanics of the 206LA elements are internally integrated and allow the suspension of 12 array speakers with a safety factor of 10:1. The front is protected by a robust metal grille with anti-resonance spacers and exclusive synthetic fabric to protect the drivers. The FBT MITUS 206LA offers a wide range of hardware accessories for flying and floor standing configurations.
