The Limited Edition Wolfgang Special Striped impresses with its player-friendly features and unmistakable style. It is an extremely responsive instrument with a powerful sound, perfect for really rocking out.

With its eye-catching, aged striped finish in red with black and white stripes and chrome fittings in a distressed look, the Wolfgang Special Striped features a basswood body with a arched top, a robust, graphite-reinforced neck made from cross-cut maple – milled and rounded to EVH’s exacting specifications – as well as a fast ebony fingerboard with a 12"-16" compound radius and 22 jumbofrets, which enable energetic riffing and blistering solos. A truss rod adjustment wheel fitted at the nut also allows for quick and easy adjustments to the neck curvature – a feature for which guitar technicians everywhere will be grateful to you.

The crystal-clear, specially developed EVH Wolfgang humbucker pickups are mounted directly onto the body and lend power chords and melodic lines richness, brilliance and seemingly endless sustain.

Every component of this guitar has been specifically selected and positioned for fast playing. The low-friction volume control allows you to effortlessly perform rapid, violin-like volume swells, whilst the tone control is designed to be difficult to turn – helping you avoid unwanted changes in tone when your picking hand flies across the strings at breakneck speed. The extremely stable EVH-branded Floyd Rose ® locking tremolo bridge, combined with the Floyd Rose locking saddle, ensures precise tuning no matter how wildly you twirl the tremolo lever. The EVH D-Tuna ® tunes precisely to Drop-D and back with a simple snap of the fingers, making this the only guitar you’ll ever need on stage.
