The Power Centre snare drumhead, with its unique perforated 5" dot, combines the durability of a double-ply drumhead with the clear, open tone of a single-ply drumhead. Of course, Evans also uses a special adhesive in this case, which bonds the dot to the head almost indissolubly and withstands even the greatest stresses.
