planet 22x is a revolutionary new audio interface that combines state-of-the-art network audio technology based on the Dante protocol with the requirements of a professional high-end audio interface for the music studio and for mobile use.
The audio interface features high-quality 24-bit / 96kHz AD converters with 118dB(a) dynamic range and 24-bit / 96kHz DA converters with 123dB(a) dynamic range. If required, the two balanced analogue line inputs can also be used with the integrated ultra-clean microphone preamps or via a high-quality Hi-Z input stage for instruments. The two balanced analogue line outputs can be adjusted via a high-quality step potentiometer for the master level. An extremely high-quality headphone amplifier is also available.
planet 22x is supplied with power either via the supplied 12V DC power supply unit or via the power supply cable using PoE (Power over Ethernet). It can therefore also be used when there is no power socket nearby.
Thanks to Dante support, planet 22x works with all other Dante-compatible audio devices in the Audio-IP network: this makes it an extremely cost-effective way of expanding an existing network with additional high-quality channels and also a flexible professional audio interface together with the Dante Virtual Soundcard for all common recording applications on Mac and PC in a professional studio environment.
