The Desktop Resonant Filterbank is an effects unit suitable for both live performance and studio production – an analogue stereo filter bank. It features ten bandpass filters with direct control over the boost or cut of each individual band, as well as complex configuration options for the feedback loops, which can transform it into an unconventional multimode filter with an envelope follower – or even into a standalone instrument when playing with different resonance settings, right through to an experimental sound generator for no-input mixer setups.
You can use it with synthesizers, drum machines and modular setups, and thanks to an analogue gain stage that amplifies incoming signals by up to +24 dB, it also works with guitars and virtually any other instrument. This tool can coax entirely new sounds from instruments you thought you already knew inside out. User snapshots (presets), MIDI control over all parameters and an elegant aluminium chassis that fits in with our range of compact desktop units make the Resonant Filterbank an integral part of many studio and live setups.
