very long life
pleasant playing feel
Who likes playing bass when the strings are worn out and sound dull and matt? An evil that you have had to put up with until now. But the developers at Elixir have made the seemingly impossible possible. Strings that sound first-class and last a really long time. Strings that always feel like new. Strings that inspire you to play. Elixir strings eliminate the need to constantly change strings. The Elixir string is protected by an ultra-thin coating that keeps dirt out of the winding spaces. With their consistent performance from gig to gig, Elixir Nickelwound bass strings eliminate the hassle and expense of frequent string changes.
