The d:facto series provides a true studio sound on the live stage and in the broadcast studio. These microphones are available in an extremely linear version as well as a version with presence boost. The modularity of the d:facto series allows capsule and adapter replacement, making it the most flexible vocal microphone on the market.

The d:facto was specially designed for vocals on stage. It has a supercardioid capsule that reproduces every nuance of the human voice in a transparent, unadulterated and captivating way. Two versions are available. The d:facto Linear Vocal Microphone (4018VL) is extremely linear. The d:facto Vocal Microphone (4018V) is linear, but with a presence boost. The 4018V is often chosen because it cuts through in the recording studio, where the content is usually sent to in-built TV speakers with limited audio quality.

Apart from linearity/boost, these microphones are identical. Both versions offer an isolation-optimised supercardioid polar pattern. This polar pattern offers the best of both worlds - cardioid and supercardioid. These microphones are equipped with a three-stage pop protection grille for loud vocals and offer the lowest handling noise in their class. They also offer excellent sound reproduction with all the detail, balanced linear phase and frequency response that users have always relied on from DPA microphones.

Rode Interview GO
Manufacturer:
A slim black shaft with which the Wireless GO transmitter module can be transformed into a wireless reportage microphone in a flash. The Interview GO is 24 cm long and weighs just 84 g. A vertical flash shoe is integrated into the head, to which the Wireless GO transmitter module is attached, forming a solid and robust unit with the shaft. If the module is fitted with the supplied foam windscreen, the result is a stylish handheld microphone that is specially designed for speech and offers outstanding transmission quality. The range of the Wireless GO system is more than sufficient at 70 metres.

Schoeps CMC 6 Ug microphone amplifier
Manufacturer:
The CMC microphone amplifiers are not (power) amplifiers in the usual sense. Their task is to adapt the signals from the high-impedance condenser capsule for the very low-impedance, balanced transmission through the microphone cable. The various versions differ in their power supply type, amplification and surface, but they all work with a transformer- and capacitor-free output stage in A mode. This results in a low output impedance (high noise immunity), low distortion and low weight.

Schoeps MK 4g capsule kidney
Manufacturer:
The MK 4 and CCM 4 have been optimised with regard to their insensitivity to sound coming from the rear. As is characteristic of the classic cardioid, the attenuation is 6dB at lateral incidence below 90° and up to 30dB at incidence from the rear - depending on the frequency and distance. Diffuse sound is reproduced 4.8dB weaker than frontal sound, a value that corresponds to the directivity*. The greater this is, the less "space" a microphone transmits and the less susceptible it is to acoustic feedback. Thanks to its directivity, the MK 4 or the CCM 4 can be positioned around 1.7 times further away from the sound source than a pressure transducer of the same sensitivity with the same reverberation balance. Even in a diffuse sound field, i.e. at a great distance from the sound source in the room, this type of microphone has a constant frequency response - apart from a slight rise at 10kHz.
