This solution utilises the MMC4018 cardioid microphone capsule, which offers a supercardioid pattern with high directivity and a smooth and consistent off-axis frequency response. The supercardioid shape is frequency independent and guarantees a consistent sound colour around the microphone. Die bei den meisten Supernieren-Mikrofonen übliche rückwärtige Niere wurde bei dieser Kapsel minimiert. As a result, it is much better isolated, without sudden frequency-dependent peaks and dips.
