This condenser microphone is highly regarded as an exceptional microphone in recording studios and live performances worldwide. A careful selection of state-of-the-art components ensures optimum neutrality, accuracy and extremely low distortion.
The main features of the d:dicate 4011 cardioid microphone are its directionality and attention to detail. With this microphone, everything simply sounds like the original. The first-order cardioid characteristic provides excellent separation between sound sources. It is equally suitable for close miking of acoustic guitar, piano, overheads, percussion, wind instruments and vocals as it is for direct miking of symphonies. It is designed for incredibly high sound pressure levels (SPL).
A linear on-axis frequency response and excellent phase behaviour deliver faithful sound reproduction. The off-axis frequency response is similarly smooth, so that any interferences are faithfully reproduced, albeit attenuated in accordance with the first-order cardioid characteristic.
