The CDX-1 offers an efficient solution for rental companies and event organisers in the field of stage lighting.
This AES/EBU-certified DMX cable is equipped with black, 5-pin XLR female and XLR male metal connectors from Neutrik, the cable has 3-pin connectors.
The high-quality CDMX-1 is used as the cable metreware, in which the pair shield is made of foil and the overall shielding consists of a braid of tinned copper wires. It fulfils the EIA 485 standard and DMX 512 specification and guarantees high tensile strength, especially for controlling intelligent spotlights, moving heads and dimmers. A transparent shrink sleeve has been attached to both ends so that the cable can be individually labelled during use.
Please note the logic of the DMX standard, which is the reverse of the XLR logic in the audio sector. For DMX, a female connector is provided on the transmitter and a male connector on the receiver.
