The XYH-5 X/Y microphone capsule supplied with the H5 offers two matched unidirectional condenser microphones arranged at a 90-degree angle. The capsules are housed in an advanced shockproof enclosure that uses robust external cables and rubber-coated materials to decouple the recorder and capsule from each other, minimising vibration and noise during operation. The design of the XYH-5 allows the H5 to handle higher levels than any other mobile phone recorder. The sound pressure limit is 140 dB, corresponding to the volume of a jet taking off at a distance of around 60 metres. The F14 truss system from Global Truss is a TÜV-certified 4-point system with an external dimension of 10cm. The small design of the trusses is ideal for shopfitting and small constructions with low loads. Spans of up to 7 metres are possible. The F14 truss is made of 20x2 mm chord tubes and 6 mm diagonal bracings made of aluminium. An additional end frame increases the stability of the truss. The trusses are connected to each other using conical connectors, which are included in the scope of delivery. Like all Global Truss trusses, this one can also be powder-coated in any colour.
