The inner workings of the CDMX-2 cable by the metre are protected from interference by a foil pair shield and a tinned copper wire braid.
The CDX-2 fulfils the EIA 485 standard and DMX 512 specification. In order to withstand any load in the best possible way, Cordial paid attention to a particularly high tensile strength during development. This means that nothing can go wrong with the lighting control cable. A transparent shrink sleeve is attached to each end for individual cable labelling.
Note the logic of the DMX standard: it is the reverse of the XLR logic in the audio sector. With DMX, there is a female plug on the transmitter and a male plug on the receiver.
