The CDX-1 offers an efficient solution for hire companies and event suppliers in the field of stage lighting.
This AES/EBU-certified DMX cable is fitted with black, 5-pin Neutrik female and male metal XLR connectors; the cable is 3-pin.
The high-quality CDMX-1 is used as the cable stock, featuring a pair shield made of foil and an overall shield consisting of a braid of tinned copper wires. Specifically for controlling intelligent spotlights, moving heads and dimmers, the EIA 485 standard and DMX 512 specification are met, and high tensile strength is guaranteed. To allow the cable to be individually labelled during use, transparent heat-shrink tubing has been fitted at both ends.
It is important to note the logic of the DMX standard, which is the exact opposite of the XLR logic used in the audio sector. With DMX, a female connector is provided on the transmitter and a male connector on the receiver.
