With the GX-1 - and the algorithms from the GX-100 - players of all skill levels benefit from great sound. Experience the 23 expressive AIRD amplifiers, complemented by over 140 effects from the huge BOSS library. Thanks to the combination of freely customisable effect sequencing, eight simultaneous effect blocks, a volume pedal and noise suppressor, you can quickly and easily create individual setups for different music styles and songs.
Seamless operation
Whether you're customising presets or building your own sounds, the GX-1 is quick and easy to use. The hexagonal effect buttons - inspired by the surfaces of the GX-100 and GX-10 - display the sound categories. You can switch the effects on and off with a short press or access the detailed parameters with a long press. There are also 99 memory locations with ready-to-play presets, plus 99 user memory locations for saving your own sound creations.
Fast sound design with the Gear Suite
The Gear Suite in the GX-1 is a powerful new function for quickly adjusting amplifier and effect sounds. Each amp/effect type offers multiple factory Gear Suite settings to recall a complete set of professionally tuned parameters with the turn of a knob. In addition, you can edit the individual effect parameters and save them as favourites in user memory locations and call them up again.
Freedom for your performance
Once your sounds are set up, you can control them live and in real time. Assign any desired function to the footswitches and expression pedal - from simply activating/deactivating effects to adjusting individual or multiple parameters at once. The wired and wireless external control options offer even more possibilities. Furthermore, the GX-1 offers three power options (batteries, AC adapter, USB) so you can practice and play anywhere.
Your daily creative partner
The GX-1 accompanies you on all your creative endeavours. Connect it via Bluetooth or USB to a mobile device or computer to jam to songs or record tracks in a DAW. And the BOSS Tone Studio offers even more: use the session function to play along to songs and lessons from YouTube, including A/B repeats and the option to adjust the playback speed. Develop your skills with a metronome and integrated rhythms. You can access BOSS Tone Exchange via the app and be inspired by professional sounds. Various editing tools are also available to adjust effects or organise sounds for later recall.
