The principle and effect of the KickPort is similar to that of a bass reflex tube. Bass reflex tubes are used in high-quality hi-fi loudspeakers and subwoofers to produce or amplify lower frequencies (the so-called low end).The KickPort gives the bass drum a deeper, fatter and warmer sound.
