When certain spare parts were no longer available for a classic compressor from the arsenal of mixing legend Chris Lord-Alge, the technicians had to make changes to the circuitry. The result is a unique compressor that is considered a golden unit. Black Lion Audio chose this very device as a model for the Bluey, so that this special sound is now also available to other music producers. High-quality components and precise acoustic optimisation bring the sound of the modified Blue Stripe from Lord-Alge's studio, and with it a piece of music history, to racks all over the world.
