This high-quality, universally applicable condenser microphone impresses with its ideal price/performance ratio. The MC 930 features a wide frequency response of 40 to 20,000 Hz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 71 dB. The MC 930 is ideal for miking choirs, orchestras and solo instruments. Thanks to the switchable pre-attenuation of 15 dB, it is also ideally suited for use with very high sound pressure levels. The switchable 6 dB/octave attenuation at 250 Hz compensates for the proximity effect.
Together with the WS 101 windscreen, the MC 930 can be used as a microphone for vocal applications and as a speaker microphone. The MC 930 works with phantom power from 11 to 52 V and can therefore also be used for live applications and installations. Thanks to its frequency-independent cardioid characteristic, the MC 930 has an excellent directivity combined with high rear cancellation. This not only makes it a first-class tool in the studio, but also enables it to be used in sound reinforcement applications where excellent sound and maximum feedback immunity are required.
