Developed for orchestral musicians and keyboardists

The DT 73 IE was specially developed for string, wind and keyboard instruments. The physically linear bass and mid-range reproduction between 20 Hz and 1 kHz ensures a natural reproduction that faithfully reproduces the output signal. A subtle boost in the treble range from 5 kHz ensures precise overtones without the sound being sharp or overemphasised.

Reference sound thanks to innovative driver system

The centrepiece of the DT 73 IE is the German-made TESLA.11 driver system, which is superior to conventional balanced armature systems. It delivers impressive detail resolution and minimal distortion (distortion factor: 0.02%). Thanks to high impulse fidelity, acoustic events are reproduced precisely. With up to 137 dB sound pressure, the DT 73 IE is one of the most powerful and lowest-distortion in-ears on the market.

Better fit=better sound

Many in-ears have a poor fit due to large driver systems, which impairs sound and isolation. The DT 73 IE solves this with the space-saving TESLA.11 driver and an ergonomic design based on hundreds of MRI ear moulds. It is more compact than comparable models and combines excellent sound, high isolation and optimum wearing comfort. Five silicone and three Comply™ memory foam ear moulds are included for maximum flexibility

Live stages and event halls are often extremely loud. It is therefore all the more important that a high-quality in-ear monitor delivers both excellent sound and protects hearing from damage in the long term. The DT 73 IE has passive sound insulation of -39 dB, making it one of the leading systems on the market.

The DT 73 IE was developed with sound engineers and masters the demanding studio and live environment effortlessly. Its high-quality cable minimises structure-borne noise and the gold-plated MMCX connector system offers a more stable connection than 2-pin connectors. The DT 73 IE is also dust and waterproof to IP68.
