Avid S1

The Avid S1 console is a Eucon-based DAW controller with Android, iPad & Amazon Fire XL integration. The same overview, working speed and comprehensive software integration that you were previously only used to from large high-end consoles such as Avid S6 is now available with S1 in a more compact and affordable format without compromising on quality for the home studio sector. Avid S1 uses the EUCON protocol and therefore offers full integration with Pro Tools® and Media Composer® as well as native support for third-party audio and video applications such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Premiere Pro and others. You can actually switch directly between different applications.

Avid S1 is designed to work with the free Avid Control app for iOs, Android and Amazon Fire XL tablets and smartphones. This provides comprehensive visual control to improve mixing workflows, enhance ergonomics and provide metering and other Avid S6-style displays. Even large mixes become much clearer, work becomes more intuitive and ultimately better sounding mixes are achieved. Up to four S1s plus an Avid Dock can be cascaded to create one large console - this way the work surface grows with your individual needs.

Avid Audio Control App:

The free Avid Audio Control App is available to coincide with the delivery of the Avid S1. It no longer only runs on iPads, but now also on iPhones, Android tablets and Amazon FireXL! To use the app, the latest EuControl version must be installed. Users can find the EuControl installer in their Avid accounts or it will be transferred to the Avid account when installing the Avid Audio Control App.

The app has two operating modes: Only 1 tablet (or mobile phone) can operate in master mode. This is the app as it has been known for a few years as Pro Tools Control, only enhanced with new features.
