The uncompromising high-performance power amplifier. The Avantone Pro CLA-200 studio reference amplifier is a classically designed Class A/B amplifier. We have taken special care to develop an amplifier in the traditional studio style, with generous VU metres, high-quality Japanese components and a linear toroidal transformer. In a standard 2U rack mount chassis, this amplifier can deliver over 200 watts per channel into an 8 ohm load, making it perfect for medium to large speakers in a studio environment. The CLA200 is convection cooled - no fan noise - so it can be used in the same room as the monitors.
The CLA-200 is designed to work with the CLA-10 studio monitors, but can be used with almost any speaker. Very low distortion, consistent performance under harsh conditions and an open and transparent sound make it an obvious choice for demanding studios.
The Avantone Pro CLA-200 studio reference amplifier is a dynamic, high-resolution, high-output, full-range power amplifier built the old-school way. To complement our CLA-10 studio reference monitors, we've built uncompromising components into a convection-cooled 2U chassis. In testing, the CLA-200 delivers a whopping 208 watts into 8 ohms The CLA-200 has no fan noise as it is convection cooled - making it perfect for control room installations.
