With Bonzo, Avantone Pro presents a bundle of two microphones that perfectly cover all conceivable bass drum miking scenarios, both live and in the studio. The first microphone is Kick, the reincarnation of the classic white cone bass speaker built into a ten-inch drum chassis. Kick stands for an impressive low-frequency performance that cannot be achieved with other designs. The second microphone is Mondo, a traditional large-diaphragm dynamic microphone with a specially designed frequency response that delivers an assertive kick drum sound even without the use of additional equalisers. Its compact design and the included vibration-damped SSM mount make it easy to position the microphone together with the kick, so that different sound ideas can be easily realised. Avantone Pro Bonzo Bundle is the convincing all-round carefree package for demanding sound engineers and produces powerful sounds in all situations.
