In contrast to the competition, the widespread practice of holding the microphone close to the microphone headgrille does not play a role thanks to the open design, as there are hardly any changes in the sound or feedback behaviour. Sound engineers will greatly appreciate these characteristics. Furthermore, the 3D Pop Noise Diffuser developed by Austrian Audio minimises the noise that can be caused by explosive sounds such as "T" and "P".
