The handheld OC707 cardioid microphone brings professional sound from the studio to the stage. Inspire your audience with every nuance of your unique voice.
The OC707 is a robust vocal microphone with a die-cast housing and true condenser technology. It gives your voice great volume and allows it to emerge clearly in the mix with all its facets without overemphasising them. The microphone is optimised for the human voice. The proximity effect, for example, has been optimised so that you can use it to your advantage in any performance. The tonally open basic character of your voice is always retained.
The OCC7 small diaphragm capsule, developed and built in Vienna, is the centrepiece. Austrian Audio's special Open Acoustic technology allows sound to enter the capsule almost freely from all sides. The minimisation of sound-reflecting surfaces in the vicinity of the capsule ensures the most resonance-free reproduction possible.
The combination of low self-noise (19 dB SPL) and high sound pressure level (150 dB SPL) results in an impressive dynamic range.
The OC707 is designed to minimise shock, handling noise and feedback. The switchable 2nd order high-pass filter further enhances these properties and can be used for sound shaping.
With the OC707, Austrian Audio has succeeded in creating a microphone that has all the important characteristics of a studio microphone and yet is able to withstand the rigours of everyday stage use.
