Thanks to its innovative and award-winning products in the field of recording and production, the British manufacturer has built up a large global fan base over the past few years. With NERO, Audient presents its first monitor controller in desktop format. With its numerous inputs and outputs, flexible routing options and the usual high quality standard, NERO forms the centre for every demanding home and project studio.

On the input side, NERO offers a variety of different connection options, including two stereo line inputs (6.3 mm jack), an aux input (3.5 mm stereo jack / stereo cinch) for quickly connecting smartphones or CD players, for example, as well as a dedicated cue mix input. For instructions from the control room and communication with fellow musicians, NERO has a built-in talkback microphone, which can alternatively be replaced by a wired microphone via an XLR input

The control centre for demanding mixing sessions offers stereo outputs for up to three pairs of speakers as well as an independent, switchable subwoofer output. Thanks to Audient's unique "Precision Matched Attenuation" technology, unlike most monitor controllers on the market, the volume of the left and right speakers is exactly the same, guaranteeing an unadulterated stereo image. In addition, NERO offers four high-quality headphone outputs that deliver a clear, distortion-free signal even with the loudest live recordings.

With "Smart Touchpoints", the British company offers an extremely well thought-out layout. Despite countless options for routing individual input and output signals, it ensures a convenient and intuitive workflow that allows complex routings to be created on the fly during the session with just a few button presses according to your own preferences and then saved as a preset. Operating the monitor controller quickly becomes second nature, allowing you to concentrate fully on the mix.
