The HORIZON 16 has been designed to form the centrepiece of a professional hybrid studio. The 16 analogue line channels, via four DB25 connectors, allow a complete rack setup comprising compressors, equalisers, summing systems and other outboard equipment to remain permanently connected.
The dedicated stereo mix bus route offers maximum flexibility for analogue summing and allows the finished mix to be fed directly back into the DAW – without interruptions or the need for re-cabling. This ensures the entire workflow remains fast, efficient and intuitive.
Precise 32-bit conversion with a dynamic range of 133 dB ensures that every signal is returned to the digital environment unaltered and with maximum transparency. At the same time, the extremely low latency of just 0.99 ms allows you to use native plug-ins without any annoying delays.
With the HORIZON Control software, you can conveniently manage routing, monitoring and comprehensive level meters via a central interface. As your studio setup grows, the system can be flexibly expanded: up to four HORIZON units can be combined to provide an impressive capacity of 200 inputs and 200 outputs.
