With these new products, the French manufacturer is once again demonstrating its sound expertise and asserting its position as world market leader.PERFORMANCE & VERSATILITY:The Alpha 50 Evo and Alpha 65 Evo models are specially designed for music production and general music reproduction and ensure outstanding acoustic coherence regardless of the listening location. To further improve reproduction performance, Focal has opted for an aluminium tweeter with an inverted dome for wide sound dispersion and a carbon fibre cone. The recycled carbon fibre cone is manufactured exclusively by the French brand in Saint-Étienne and was chosen for its neutrality and dynamics. Focal is constantly revising its product range, drawing on over 40 years of expertise in the field of acoustics and its innovative strength. This is also underlined by the new large laminar port, which minimises distortion.NEW FEATURES:Evo stands for evolution. In addition to the analogue XLR and RCA sockets, the Alpha Evo monitors have a new TRS jack input (6.35 mm), an automatic standby mode that can be deactivated and inserts for wall and ceiling mounting: a truly versatile range (mixing, mastering, DJ, broadcasting). In terms of amplification, the speakers each have two Class D amplifiers. Their high current capacity gives you maximum control over the signal dynamics. In addition, high volumes can be achieved without distortion. Each speaker reproduces even the smallest details in the mix across all styles of music.DESIGN AND CABINET CONSTRUCTION:The monitors have a 15 mm thick MDF enclosure with internal bracing for maximum stability even at high sound pressure levels. The bass reflex design was chosen for easy acoustic integration even in the tightest of spaces. In terms of aesthetics, the classic cube shape of the monitor gives way to a design with rounded corners. The side panels ensure a sophisticated, robust and modern design that contributes to excellent acoustics and a unique and harmonious character across the entire range.
