AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X

The AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X is a compact DJ multi-player designed for modern set-ups that require professional-grade performance but have limited space. You get a large 10.1-inch touchscreen, direct access to USB, the cloud and streaming services, a clear user interface and essential performance features for precise mixing. The player is designed for bars, clubs, mobile set-ups and fixed installations where reliability, clarity and flexible media selection are key.

Large screen, clear decisions

The 10.1-inch capacitive display gives you plenty of space for track selection, waveforms and key song information. In browse view, you can see up to 15 tracks at once, including waveform previews, BPM and key. This helps you find the next suitable track more quickly, without having to navigate through unnecessarily convoluted menus.

The visual cues for vocal positions, BPM changes and phrase structures are particularly helpful. You can quickly spot where a track leaves room to breathe, where energy builds up and which sections are ideal for transitions. Dark and light display modes also ensure that you can adjust the display to suit the lighting in the room.

Streaming and the cloud without any detours

With built-in Wi-Fi, you can access compatible cloud libraries and streaming services directly. rekordbox CloudDirectPlay supports Dropbox and Google Drive, whilst StreamingDirectPlay enables access to Apple Music, Beatport Streaming and TIDAL. A connection via Wi-Fi or a wired LAN is required for this.

You can log in via QR code or NFC. Personal settings and playlists can be quickly loaded via a mobile device running rekordbox. This makes the player well-suited to workflows where you don’t rely solely on USB sticks whilst on the move, but want to seamlessly integrate various sources into a single setup.

Direct access whilst DJing

Eight hot cue buttons, Beat Loop, Beat Jump and Beat Sync give you quick access to key performance functions. The Beat Loop control is handy when you want to set loops without having to search for them at length. The jog wheel features a non-slip surface and a rotation indicator, so you retain a direct feel when cueing and fine-tuning.

The Playlist Edit function allows you to reorder tracks directly on the device. This is useful if your set changes spontaneously and you don’t need to go back to your laptop or the export process. The player also supports rekordbox, Serato DJ Pro and djay Pro, although individual software or streaming features may depend on your account, subscription or update status.

Fits into tight booths

At 252.1 mm wide, the media player is significantly more compact than large club players and can be placed more easily alongside a mixer, turntables or other equipment. This makes it ideal for small DJ set-ups, bars, lounges, mobile racks and installations where every centimetre counts.

PRO DJ LINK allows multiple players to be connected to a DJ mixer via LAN. With a switching hub, up to four devices can be integrated. You can also choose from 12 LED colours for the front panel to better match the device’s appearance to your setup.

Close to the audience, yet in control

Compatibility with CoBeat brings song requests and messages from the audience straight into your workspace. Guests can interact via their smartphones, whilst you see requests on the player and decide for yourself if and when something fits into your set.

This is particularly useful for events, bars and formats where interaction is encouraged, without you having to relinquish control over your musical direction. CoBeat can be used, but does not need to be active at all times. This allows you to remain flexible and retain control over the course of the evening.
