The new Allen & Heath SQ Series - DLIVE in a compact format

The new, highly affordable family of Allen & Heath digital mixers, comprising the SQ-5, SQ-6 and SQ7 models, is based on the XCVI 96 kHz FPGA engine, which offers high-resolution audio processing with excellent audio quality and a low latency of less than 0.7 ms. The SQ-5 offers 16 built-in mic preamps, 17 faders and can be installed in a standard 19-inch rack. The slightly larger SQ-6 offers 24 preamps and 25 faders, while the SQ7 has 32 mic preamps and 33 faders. All 3 mixers can be expanded to up to 48 input channels via optionally available expanders, and all 3 models have the option of connecting expansions via network systems such as Dante or Waves. The Allen & Heath SQ-5/SQ-6 mixers can record directly to USB storage media at up to 96 kHz via the built-in SQ drive.
