Rode Vlogger Kit USB-C

Ideal all-in-one solution for smartphone filmmakers who want to deliver professional sound quality: a high-quality directional condenser microphone (VideoMic Me-C), a smartphone clamp mount (SmartGrip), a miniature tripod/handle (Tripod 2), a mini LED light (MicroLED) and other accessories.

VideoMic Me-C:

The centrepiece of the RØDE Vlogger Kit USB-C is an 8 cm short directional condenser microphone with a robust and scratch-resistant coated full metal housing, which can be connected directly to the smartphone with the integrated USB-C plug and securely attached with the included rubber clip. High-quality pre-amplification and digital conversion already take place in the VideoMic Me-C. The VideoMic Me-C has a pick-up angle of approx. 90° with good directivity to the front: sound coming from the side and from behind is largely ignored. The 3.5 mm headphone socket on the back of the microphone is practical. If the app allows it, you can check the sound quality while recording; in any case, you don't have to switch from microphone to headphones to listen. The deluxe WS9 windscreen is included in the scope of delivery, which can be easily attached for outdoor recordings and filters out disturbing air noise up to wind force 5. The VideoMic Me-C works with all smartphones that have a USB-C connection and use Android 10 or newer.

SmartGrip:

A robust metal holder with rubberised clamping jaws for smartphones from 65 mm to 85 mm wide. The SmartGrip has three 1/4 tripod threads - two on the side and one in the base - so that the smartphone can be used both vertically and horizontally. The SmartGrip has an integrated hot shoe at the top for mounting the MicroLED video light or the DCS-1 double hot shoe adapter.

Tripod 2:

A 15 cm to 18 cm high miniature tripod with ball head and 1/4 tripod thread, depending on the application, which also makes a first-class handle when the feet are folded in. When used as a table tripod, the feet can be folded out halfway or fully as required. The Tripod 2 weighs 180 g and is made of injection-moulded polymer with a maximum load capacity of 2 kg.

MicroLED:

A miniature video light with integrated rechargeable battery, which can be used for up to 4 hours depending on the selected brightness. Charging takes place via USB-C, the corresponding socket is located on the side behind a hinged cover, a USB-C to USB-A cable is included in the scope of delivery. In the studio, the MicroLED can also be permanently supplied with power via USB-C. The brightness can be adjusted in four levels from 60 to 300 lumens. A diffuser attachment with 8 interchangeable foils in different colours is included.
