The nanoKEY Fold is an extremely portable MIDI keyboard that is equipped with numerous practical features and can be folded to the size of a smartphone for transport. The DR-2 is a digital DSP drum synthesiser with 6 instruments and an integrated 128-step drum sequencer. At first glance, you'll recognise it in some ways. There are sounds that will remind you of the good old classic drum machines, and the step sequencer will have you building drum riffs from the first second you touch it. But Modor uses digital sound synthesis to go beyond the possibilities of a classic drum machine, and the step sequencer can do more than just play drums...First of all, although it is digital, the DR-2 is not about sampling. It's a drum synthesiser, like a classic analogue drum machine, but it uses digital sound synthesis algorithms instead of analogue circuits. The DR-2 contains no samples and has no sample memory.Just like the Modor NF-1, the DR-2 was not built to reproduce the classics of the past. The DR-2 uses digital sound synthesis to recreate drum sounds and rhythms. Many sounds will be recognisable. It is possible to create classic sounding bass drums, snares and rimshots.
